Sunday, September 12: 10 a.m. worship will include The Blessing of the Backpacks for all students, young and not so young. Also if you can, bring a gently used (or new) backpack to be blessed and sent to the Bendriani Orphanage in the country of Georgia. September 11 Memorial Service
Saturday, September 11, at 5:00 p.m. Music, prayers, and reflection on the anniversary of September 11, 2001. All are invited. The offering will go to the 9/11 Scholarship which is awarded to two Tuxedo high school seniors each spring.
Funeral Mass for Kevin McDevitt
A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary's for Kevin McDevitt on Wednesday, September 8 at 11 a.m. All are invited.
Ushers serve the congregation in teams of 3-4 persons. These teams facilitate parish worship by greeting and seating parishioners; distributing worship bulletins; physically assisting worshipers when needed; collecting the offering; and assisting with communion. Following the service, the ushers review the pews and assist in making them orderly. They also record the offering and submit a report.
