Given our relatively small membership, our stewardship participation is broad and robust. Once we establish a pledge target based upon our budget projections, we start our Stewardship campaign. In November, we mail a one-page master letter (with a personal note added) describing St. Mary’s accomplishments, along with pledge cards to the parish general mailing. Speakers representing various church demographics talk about what St. Mary’s means to them for the next three weeks at services. After the three-week period, the Stewardship Chair and other Vestry members follow up with personal calls to those who have not responded. Thank you letters and personal notes are sent immediately to donors. We believe that pledging demonstrates our commitment to the church and that each pledge should be in proportion to the gifts that God has granted us.

Sunday, September 12: 10 a.m. worship will include The Blessing of the Backpacks for all students, young and not so young. Also if you can, bring a gently used (or new) backpack to be blessed and sent to the Bendriani Orphanage in the country of Georgia. Afterwards, enjoy the 3 "p"s...ponies, picnic and play (CastleBounce. Volleyball). Please help us get the word out that this is for EVERYONE!
