May 21 Lecture/Dinner Presenters:
Author Kevin Mellyn used Walter Bagehot’s book,” Lombard Street Revisited” about the financial crisis of 1873, as the inspiration for his recent book” Financial Market Meltdown: Everything You Need to Know To Understand and Survive the Global Credit Crisis”. Kevin used Bagehot’s demystifying “the world of the financial market for the general reader, making it as concrete, simple and readable as possible” as his guide to the most recent financial crisis. Educated at Harvard, with over 35 years of experience in the financial world, Kevin comes to St. Mary’s with insight and information into the mindset of Walter Bagehot.

A 1984 Yale University graduate, Claudio has spent over a quarter of a century in the world of finance, with experience as a U.S. Government intelligence analyst , and a trader at Solomon Brothers, Delphi Asset Mgmt., and the Zanett Group.
